Hey there and welcome, glad you stopped by. I’m Joanna, founder and chief fiddlehead of fiddlehead kitchen, a blog and small food business in riverside California. Headquartered in a cozy 1911 craftsman bungalow is where you’ll find me in the kitchen, vegetable garden or studio. A proponent of local food and farm-to-table, I believe in knowing where your food comes from, growing your own if you can and always using the highest quality, seasonal ingredients in my cooking and baking. fiddlehead is currently offering baked goods and pastry, culinary workshops and the occasional private chef gig.


Having spent the majority of my career thus far in the field of Graphic Design, I’m always looking to bring my design talent and skills together with my passion for all things food and lifestyle related. InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are second nature to me. Food photography and styling have become a natural artistic extension over the last several years, and I continue to learn and refine my eye daily. I have always found happiness in the kitchen, cooking and baking for family and friends, so when the opportunity to fulfill a dream and go to culinary school became possible, I jumped at the chance. Taking my culinary skills to a professional level has allowed me to enter the vast world of food with a solid foundation, training and skill-set that coexist rather well with an art and design background.
