Just here fiddling around in the little kitchen of a 1911 craftsman bungalow in Riverside California. I'm a self-taught cook and baker, my mom taught me the basics and I just sort of kept on going. 

I'm a graphic designer and artist that has always found happiness and creativity in the kitchen, whether it's following a recipe or experimenting with my own. Testing new ideas, cooking for family and friends just makes me happy. I can honestly say I have been asked if I have cookies in my purse on more than one occasion. I like to try out my recipes on an apparently, very willing panel of taste testers. So yes, if you happen to see me there's always a good chance I have cookies in my purse.

What you'll find here is what I'm cooking and baking up. Original recipes, my spin on something I had somewhere or something tried and true. Sometimes I might just share recipe that I love.
